NAUI Offers Technical Training Lectures and Panel Discussion During Emerald Seas Symposium
Tampa, Fla., (February 7, 2017) – The National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI Worldwide) will offer a series of technical diving lectures as part of the Emerald Seas Symposium in conjunction with the Scuba & H2O Show in Tacoma, Washington, on March 31.
To advance the level of knowledge within the local dive community of the Pacific Northwest, Dive News Network (DNN) is partnering with a variety of industry leaders and stakeholders to include a professional development conference in conjunction with the Scuba & H2O Show.
The Emerald Seas Symposium offers a full day of seminars for a variety of dive industry audiences. The symposium is comprised of four different tracks, or user groups, including the Technical Diving Track, to which NAUI will be the exclusive provider. The other tracks include Public Safety Diving, Science Diving, and Professional Scuba Inspectors – Professional Cylinder Inspectors (PSI-PCI).
‘NAUI Worldwide professionals have led the way in many of the sport’s major developments and have helped define the trends in diving and inspire its future. NAUI Technical training programs are no exception,’ said NAUI Training Director Terrence Tysall.
NAUI has long understood that divers value training that takes them beyond the recreational discipline. NAUI created its Technical Diving Division in 1997 with the goal of creating a higher standard of training. NAUI Technical training assures divers the highest quality instructors who provide the skills, knowledge, and training required to manage this advanced level of diving, all while minimizing risk.
